Flipkart paused Affiliate program and added limit for current affiliate accounts


Flipkart is online marketplace with large share in Indian Online retail business.

After recent acquisition and investment from Walmart , there is lot of changes.

One of the major change noticed by some of the affiliate partners, who mentioned that there is cost cutting in online marketing.

One of the affiliate posted that they were earning around Rs 2,000 daily and now there whole monthly budget is Rs 2,500 only. Even if affiliate earn more than Rs 2500 rest of the amount will not be paid.

Also once Flipkart Affiliate exceed the limit they will get email as below.

This is to inform that you’ve exceeded the RO amount that was allocated for your account for June’18. We request you to pause your campaigns as Flipkart Affiliate Program will not be liable to pay the extra amount.

Last year Snapdeal closed it Affiliate program as part of cost cutting, and most of the partners moved to Amazon and Flipkart.

Flipkart affiliate program also want to promote Home and Furniture categories instead of only Mobile and TV.

If the limits continue more and more partners will move to Amazon India.


Flipkart also closed new registration for Affiliates from 5th May 2018 until further notice.


We have currently paused new affiliate registrations w.e.f. 5th May 2018 until further notice while we work on developments and improvements to the FAP(Flipkart Affiliate Program) platform.

Update 2

Some affiliates who did not promoted or earn past few months, did not get any budget and asked to stopped the campaigns.
